G is for Graces

The Graces were the three goddesses of charm and grace – Aglaia, Euphrosyne, and Thaleia. They were also daughters of Zeus and attended the Olympian goddesses Aphrodite and Hera.
The Greeks sure had a thing for ‘groups of three’, as it is said they found power in the number. When I thought about it, I realized there were a lot of modern things that came in threes and the Greeks clearly weren’t the only ones who loved the number. Check it out!
  1. The 3 Bears
  2. Neapolitan Ice Cream – Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry. Yum!
  3. 3 Piece Chicken Dinner
  4. Hewey, Duey, and Looey – Ducktails!
  5. Triple Espresso
  6. 3 Little Pigs
  7. 3 Stooges
  8. Morning, Noon, and Night
  9. 3 Musketeers
  10. Snap, Crackle, and Pop
  11. Powder Puff Girls (Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup)
  12. Hunger Games Trilogy
  13. See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil
  14. 3 Strikes – You’re out!
  15. 3 Wise Men
  16. First name, Middle name, Last name
  17. Area codes
  18. Harry, Hermione, and Ron
  19. Triplets

What other things come in threes? The list is endless!

    3 Ships of Christopher Columbus
3 Little Kittens They Lost Their Mittens
    3 Trimesters in a Pregnancy
3 To Get Ready (and four to go)
3 Holes in a Bowling Ball
