Show N' Read Saturday #17–SONS OF ANARCHY

A weekly meme hosted by Diantha Jones where we share and rate TV shows and movies we've seen, and the books that we have read or have now been inspired to read.

This week I watched:

Sons of Anarchy on FX (2008–)

Sons of Anarchy is an adrenalized drama with darkly comedic undertones that explores a notorious outlaw motorcycle club's (MC) desire to protect its livelihood while ensuring that their simple, sheltered town of Charming, California remains exactly that, Charming. The MC must confront threats from drug dealers, corporate developers, and overzealous law officers. Behind the MC's familial lifestyle and legally thriving automotive shop is a ruthless and illegally thriving arms business. The seduction of money, power, and blood. (

So this week I took it upon myself to re-watch a few of my fave episodes from this fantastic, amazing show. Honestly, SOA is one of my top three faves, right after Supernatural and Scandal. Seems the best shows begin with "S"!

When I first began watching SOA, I never even dreamed I would love it as much as I do. There's a single, solitary reason for that: JACKSON. OMG, Charlie Hunnam as "Jackson" is hot as hell in this show. I mean, on fire, I'm burning up, don't put out my flames HOT! He's tough, gritty, beautiful, loving, and heartless as a mutha when he wants to be. But let me not forget to mention, the other characters in this show are AMAZING!! Like, almost every single one of them. The drama, the chaos, the nail-biting action is just so addicting. I simply cannot get enough of this show and I'm drooling with anticipation for season six.

My rating: 5/5 STARS

Book I've Read:

Losing Me, Finding You by C.M. Stunich (2013)– Review

Twenty-one year old Amy Cross's idea of a hot Saturday night is curling up with her favorite book boyfriend and secretly sneaking a bottle of her mother's wine. That is, until she meets Austin Sparks, the biker boy with a past that burns like fire and a gaze she can't look away from. Without knowing what she's doing or why she's doing it, Amy ends up on the road with Austin traveling from one city to another while learning things she's only ever read about in romance novels.

At first it seems like Austin is Amy's fantasy come true, but as their journey progresses, she starts to sense that Austin is running away from something. Amy knows that she'll do whatever it takes to help him find himself. What she doesn't expect is that she'll lose herself in the process and how good it will feel to be free. (Goodreads)

C.M. Stunich has managed to once again force me to drop out of reality and immerse myself in one of her books! I love her, and Losing Me, Finding You just reminds why I do. This book is HOT, funny, dramatic, and intense, and let's not forget how absolutely scrumptious that cover is. I loved every second of it. Austin Sparks definitely reminds me of Jackson from SOA with his sexy hardcore edge and flippant tongue. Great read! Worth every penny spent!

My rating: 4/5 STARS
