Diantha's Writing Progress

I was about to post this to Facebook, then I was like, girl what are you doing? Blog it!

Here go...

Diantha's Writing Progress (in order of release):

Purr, Inc: A Jaguar's Tryst (short story): 1,539/5000 words
Wish for Me (Love & Steampunk #1): 4,465/80,000 words
Hero, Curse (OOD #3.5, novella): 1,026/ 35,000 words
Prophecy of the Betrayed Heir (OOD #4): 8,221/150,000 words
Prophecy of the Eternal Empire (OOD #5): 9,218/180,000 words

So I'm a little bit behind on Wish for Me, but A Jaguar's Tryst is right on the money. It's so much easier when you know exactly what you want to accomplish with a story. The story will appear in an anthology being published by Mia Darien, but that won't be the last you'll see of Purr, Inc. (wink wink)

Unleashed (Unknowing #4) isn't on the list because I haven't written a single word. I know what I want to happen but I'm so anxious to get to my other books that I keep putting it off. Queen Eternal isn't on here either because I'm actually seriously considering postponing the Eternal Knights adult fantasy series indefinitely, in favor of my next YA fantasy project which will not be spoken of for a long time. But let me tell you guys, it's going to be AWESOME.

Anywho. I plan to be hard on Hero, Cursed by Oct/Nov for a March 2014 release and then by the first of the year be hard on PoBH. I want to release it in September 2014 but will push it back if necessary. Just depends on my writing progress.

So there you have it, a quick update on my upcoming projects. Prophecy of Solstice's End (OOD #3) releases in EIGHT DAYS! And I'm too excited about that. Can't wait to share it you guys and the blog tour is looking like it's going to be amazing.

All right! See you Monday, where I'll either be doing another rant on How Not to Piss Off a Book Blogger, or what irks me the most when I read reviews (not my own).
